How to register

You may register for an HMO in one of the following ways:

  • On the NII website:
Fill in the entire form according to the instructions. For purposes of identification and to avoid forgeries, you will be asked to fill in the details on your personal Israeli credit card (not Direct), but the service is free of charge. It is a good idea to print out your registration authorisation. Click here for the registration process and transition.

  • At post office branches:
At post office branches you must present your ID card when registering for an HMO. Registering at post office branches costs money (the post office will tell you the exact sum). You will receive a copy of the registration form after registering, which you should keep.
